The hardest part of running a property isn't the work. It's knowing whether the work is paying off. You're busy every day. Busy isn't the same as winning, and by the time the month closes, it's too late to do anything about it.

So we built the answer into Hotelia. It lives in your dashboard under Analytics and Reports, and it's three tabs, each answering a question you actually ask yourself.

Overview: how am I doing right now?

This is your whole property in one screen. Pick a range at the top, Today, This Week, This Month, or Last 30 Days, and everything updates.

You get the three numbers that matter most. Occupancy, or how full you are. ADR, your average daily rate, which is what a booked room earns on a typical night. And RevPAR, revenue per available room, which is what every room earns whether it's booked or not. If you only watch one, watch RevPAR. It's the truest read on how the property is really doing.

Under that, your total revenue with a 14 day chart, so you see the shape of your income and not just a single figure. Your bookings and average length of stay. And your revenue broken out by room type and by add-ons, so you can see exactly where the money is coming from. If a room type or an upsell is carrying you, you'll know. If one is quietly dragging, you'll know that too.

New to the terms? That's fine. Everything is labeled in plain language. You don't need a revenue manager to read it.

    Forecast: where am I headed?

Most reports only look backward. This one looks ahead. It shows your occupancy for the week to come, day by day, and you can step forward week by week to look further out.

Here's why that's worth more than it sounds. Say your week reads Monday 62%, midweek in the 70s and 80s, then Friday 96% and Saturday 98%. That tells you two things at a glance. You need more hands on the weekend, and your weekend rate is probably too low. You can act on both now, while there's still time, instead of finding out after the fact.

That's the whole point. Planning instead of reacting.

Revenue Optimization: where am I leaving money?

This tab studies your own booking patterns and points things out. It shows how each day of the week actually performs, so you know your strong nights and your soft ones. And it suggests where to move your rates based on your occupancy, so you're not underpricing a night that's about to sell out or overpricing a quiet one.

These are suggestions from your real numbers, not a black box. You decide on every rate. Hotelia just makes sure you're deciding with the full picture.

Two things we care about most

It's live. The numbers move the moment a booking is made, changed, or cancelled. Nothing to refresh, nothing to rebuild, nothing to import. What you see always matches what actually happened, because it comes from the same system that took the booking. One source of truth.

And it's included. The full dashboard, the forecast, and the rate suggestions come standard on every plan. Not a higher tier, not an add-on. A lot of platforms charge extra for the reports that tell you how your own business is doing, and that has always felt backwards to us. Bootstrapping taught us to spend only where it moves the needle, and nothing moves the needle like seeing your own numbers. So everyone gets them.

    What this actually gives you

Fewer surprises at month end. A reason behind every rate you set. A heads up before a busy weekend instead of a scramble during one. And the quiet confidence of opening your laptop and knowing, in about thirty seconds, whether your hotel is winning.

You can see the full breakdown here: Hotelia analytics and reports.

One last thing, and it's free. Even if you never use Hotelia, build the habit. Pick three numbers, occupancy, RevPAR, and how much of your business is booking direct, and check them every week. Not once a quarter. Weekly. That alone will change how you run your property.
